Cake and Bake Show - Manchester

Cake and Bake Show Manchester

I'm going to another Cake and Bake Show with Laura, we have a lovely day planned - I can't wait. Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood are two of the star attractions and John Whaite the winner of the Great British Bake Off is demonstrating - it should be such fun.

The programme looks really good with lots to see, the exhibitor list is impressive and demonstrations are running throughout the day plus a number of smaller classroom sessions that you can book into. Laura and I are booked into two classroom sessions so hopefully we will come back with a few new tricks up our sleeves!

The first session we are booked into is with Harpreet Baurashe she is the face behind “Crumbs Couture” a cupcake and cake company based in West London. The classroom session is about perfect piping techniques, I hope we can have a go.

The second session is all about working with royal icing which is lead by Ceri DD Griffiths who is a well known tutor and is recognised internationally for his work.

I must hurry and get myself ready before Laura arrives for our day out - sorry to rush but will tell you all about the exhibition tomorrow..................

talk soon x
