I'm joining in with
Lou again today, the theme is still foraging but with
a bit of a difference. We have been challenged to come up with gift ideas for May Day. I decided to pick some herbs from my garden which has quite a few hardy fragrant plants, I've chosen Rosemary, Bay, Thyme, Marjoram,
Chives and a sprig of Lavender to make a small culinary bouquet, the
fragrances are quite heady, especially the Rosemary and Lavender.
I bound the herbs together with some pretty pink cotton ribbon and I'm
going to give the tied bunch to my youngest sister who loves cooking, I hope she will think to dry any spare bay
leaves and herbs for later use.
I think this is one of my favourite link ups, thank you Lou for helping me appreciate my plants and garden .................hope you all have a lovely long Bank Holiday Weekend.

I love herbs, I had some in my garden. Until my Dalmatian went and dug all my pots up!!!!!! I love him to bits but he is a digger unfortunately. I think I have some chives left and a raggedy bit of sage, the lavender is hanging on by the skin of its teeth, owing to the fact he keeps bringing me pieces of it!!! Rowen@Coastal Colours x
