a new Maggie Rabbit...............

I always have a project on the go so whilst I have been resting my crochet hook I have been doing a little bit of gentle hand sewing, which doesn't seem to bother my shoulder as much. I wanted to make another Maggie Rabbit and this has been the perfect opportunity to get on with one. I made my first rabbit Lottie back in May and even though she was my first attempt I was thrilled with her.

I hope Lottie is happy with her new friend - say hello to Mabel.....................

as you can see Lottie came round to play....................

I risked getting my crochet hook out and made Mabel a little crochet shawl. Lottie's shawl is knitted and the instructions come with the rabbit pattern. I felt a crochet shawl would suit Mabel better she has more of an old fashioned granny air about her - do you agree, I think she is lovely, she makes me smile.

The pattern I have used for Lottie and Mabel is designed by Alicia and according to the website the kits are back in stock or you can buy the pdf and use your own fabric which is what I did. I have just bought a new pattern off the website for a Maggie Rabbit little knitted dress - so if the two girls are good I might knit them matching dresses for special occasions.

talk soon x
