Yarn along - new baby knits...............

I am joining in with Ginny for this weeks yarn along. I can't wait to see what everyone is up to as I always find lots of ideas to inspire me. I am knitting something small this week I had forgotten how nice it is to knit a one ball of yarn project. Laura is arranging a baby shower this weekend for one of her best friends, my contribution is a little knitted hat. With any leftover yarn I am going to get my hook out and make one or two crochet balls. My grandsons still have fun with a well used collection of knitted and crochet balls for indoor football competitions.

My reading this week is somewhat back to front, I started reading Jo Nesbo crime novels a few years ago and thought I had read the complete Harry Hole series but it seems I had missed the first book. So I am reading the first book (which has only recently been translated into English) last and savouring it as no more Harry Hole thrillers are on the horizon. Harry Hole is in Australia as the representative of the Norwegian police in the investigation of the murder of a Norwegian national. Upon arrival, he is met by an indigenous Australian policeman who guides Harry through the investigation, despite attempts by the force to sideline him. It soon becomes clear that the murder is just one of many young blonde women up and down the eastern coast - gripping stuff

Hope if you have time you will pop over and have a look at the other yarn along posts here and Jo Nesbo books are worth looking out for too.

Talk soon x
