Not surprisingly a lovely parcel arrived yesterday............................... I couldn't resist!
I'm so pleased with the pastel colours and the yarn feels lovely. It's an aran weight, 100% cotton and great value at £1.80 for a 50gm ball. I've now got to decide on my blanket design and what stitch to use - can't wait........................
Talk soon x
I saw that on Attic24 too - the colours are so lovely, I'm very tempted by it.
ReplyDeleteThe yarn shops must love Lucy too xx

Please stop colluding with Lucy to make me want to order this yarn! I've got to finish the stuff I'm working on right now. Enjoy it, those colours are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely colours. I love working with cotton. I'm saving my pennies for Yarndale. Coming on the train on the lovely Carlisle-Settle line.

I have too much stuff to recycle at the moment for any new buys but other people making great buys can kind of feel like I bought it, you know when I have seen the colours, a close up of the texture etc. I can pretend it now lives in my cupboard! Looking forward to your project. Jo x

Beautiful yarn - I think that's the same one that Wink from A Creative Being uses all the time for her mandalas. I love your colour choices. Joy x
ReplyDeleteThat yarn caught my eye too - such good value in such a large range of colours. The shades you've chosen are beautiful. I'll keep that brand in mind when I eventually start my own blanket. x
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty combination of colours!
ReplyDeleteI think if I am sneaky I might get away with adding a few more balls of yarn into my stash...
Love the colours too Sue, good choices. I'm finally getting around to crocheting my first granny squares blanket together for Miss Two. I keep thinking of my grandmother making one of these for each of her grandchildren and her first great grandchild (Miss Four). She died before Miss Two appeared on the scene so I decided to learn the skill and take over her role. I too think I might be in love with blankets. I've got another on the way for my first niece or nephew, due in November.
