I am joining in with Lou's nature in the home series and this weeks theme is white. I had fun wandering in my garden looking for simple white blooms to share with you. It always amazes me what I find, this series has really made me look and appreciate everything my garden has to offer.
The flowers are all so perfect that I am going to find a big heavy book and press them between blotting paper - hopefully in a few months I will have beautifully dried flower heads to make an everlasting card.
talk soon x
Very pretty selections this week. I love white flowers, they're so fresh. Daisies are probably my favorite flower of all.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter recently brought me a flower back from school, I'm pressing mine in a heavy cook book. Beautiful flowers, the daisy looks so cheery x

ReplyDeleteHow lovely - I haven't pressed flowers since I was a child, I'd love to try again. x
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what you find in the garden when you look in detail, rather than at the "big picture". I haven't pressed flowers for years!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I recently opened a flower press that had belonged to my nan. It was so lovely to see all those pressed blooms in there from so long ago. It inspired me to get one for my girl to have a go, but I'm now thinking Id quite like my own too. xx
ReplyDeleteSuch simple beauty. I haven't pressed flowers since I was a child, they will be lovely ~ Sarah x
ReplyDeleteI have not pressed flowers for years, but pressed flower pictures and cards are so pretty, it is a craft that deserves to be more widespread. Good luck, I hope it goes ok.
