I've finished........

I decided on a cushion................

I am totally loving join as you go granny squares and I'm very pleased with my first granny square cushion. The colour choices are very random, most of the yarn was over from the blanket and bunting I made for Pam's birthday present. Stylecraft DK seems to go on for ever and is lovely to work with. Next I'm going to make a blanket but I am going to crochet solid colour squares rather than changing my yarn after every round. I think I will plan my colour choices better as well.

I have also experimented with a lovely flower mandela that I saw on Linda's lovely blog and the pattern has been kindly translated into English here -

what do you think - I love it............................

talk soon x

    1. I was very lazy and didn't block at all - I was so excited about finishing my cushion I just folded it in half and joined seams together with double crochet then I stuffed the cushion pad in and closed the opening with more double crochet. More by luck than judgement it all seemed to stay in shape x

  27. Hi

    Thanks for visiting my blog.
The cushion has come out lovely and I just loved the flower mandala. Thanks for the link. I made a few. The first one my daughter wanted for her bag, the second my other daughter wanted. I stitched it on her pillow. The third went as a stick-on, on my daughter's b'day gift to her friend. I am making a few more now. Its addictive. Thanks for sharing happiness!! You've brought so many smiles by just sharing a link!!
