Button pictures

During the half term break I planned some fun activities to do with my grandchildren. One of the activities I wanted to share with you was our button collages. I printed the first letter of everyone's name in a really big font size. I then cut the letter out and glued it onto a card. The children then chose heaps of different coloured buttons and glued them onto the letter with PVA glue.

The children really enjoyed all the gluing and sticking and even with lots of pots of glue around the mess was minimal. I was so impressed with the results and we will definitely do it again.
Laura found some inexpensive frames at IKEA that fit the letter cards perfectly. They would make great gifts.

the angle of this photo is a bit strange but it gives you the idea of how good they looked framed.
I'm almost up to date now..................

Talk soon x
