Amigurumi convert.....................

Recently I have become a little bit more adventurous with my crochet as in the main I had stuck with blankets and cushions with a few flowers and hearts thrown in. I felt it was time to try something new and I seem to have fallen for amigurumi. I started with strawberries moved on to toadstools and then I had to have ago at making this really cute fawn.
Look what I found at the bottom of my garden this morning..........

and when my Mollie Makes magazine arrived yesterday I couldn't resist this extremely cute plant pot cover -  I just need to find a mini plant to go inside it now.
as you can see I am having fun.............

Talk to you all soon x

  6. Your plant pot cover is way too cute!!! I am a bit worried though as it seems that the crochet is breeding at your house, I mean animals and mushrooms in the garden! Whatever next!!!! All incredibly cute and lovely of course Sue! xx

  8. Awww, the fawn is so cute! I got into knitting "tinies" at one point, everything in miniature ... about 1" big). It was pretty fussy, but very fun. I love the little plant pot cover. Someone suggested an African violet to me for one of my little knitted baskets, and maybe that would look good in your pot too (it's a bit hard to tell how large the pot is). Keep going Sue ... can't wait to see what else you create :) Wendy x

  15. It is a great way to follow a pattern and learn to decrease and increase. I make fruit cosies with my intermediate groups from ravelry, I think you would like them. Great work Jo x
