Crochet along..........

I am joining Marianne and Chrissie with their weekly crochet along link. I started a mini hot water bottle cover a few weeks ago but had a few problems with the neck shaping. So after seeing  Jo's  really cute hottie cover I unpicked mine and started again. Jo used a draw string to pull the cover in at the neck, which works perfectly. I am so pleased with the result - thank you Jo for the inspiration.

Another Christmas present to add to my collection.

Hope you all have a fab weekend and don't forget to put the clocks back on Saturday.

Talk soon x

  1. Fantastic, glad it was useful. I struggled with the neck too which is why I came up with the draw string idea. I think a granny square one is a really effective. Jo x

    1. Thank you Jo, I had a little bag of granny squares over from something so it was great to use them up. I'm pleased how it all came together x

  11. Gorgeous cover Sue - more proof that the very practical granny square's use is limited only by the imagination. I keep seeing all these beautiful ideas for Christmas gifts but being here in Australia I have to stop myself from rushing into these things and look instead for projects suitable for hot weather!
