sunshine has arrived......................

It's a lovely bright morning and I am abandoning my job list for now and sitting in the garden. I started off just sitting, relaxing and reading this months Simply Crochet magazine, nibbling sumptuous summer berries but my mind kept wandering to my ripple blanket - I really don't like it anymore.

So after taking a deep breath in I started to undo it - I feel so much better now.....................

I still love the cotton and the colours but I will have to think of a new project and make sure I calculate how much yarn I need this time.

have fun in the sun - talk soon x

yarn along - Billie blanket 2

My yarn along post this week is pretty much an extension of last weeks, I finished the little woolleyhugs, Billie blanket but felt it needed a friend so I have started blanket number two. This one is a little different, the first one was made up of rows of treble crochet, this one is going to be made from small granny squares.

Reading wise I am looking for inspiration so have been re-reading my Simply Crochet, which I love. Not sure what I am going to make yet, but if I manage to finish my Billie blanket I will share my new project with you this time next week.

Ps forgot to say I am at Inspire Market Fair on Saturday pop over to Sweetpea Face Book page  for more details and a special offer just for you x

yarn along - I have so missed my crochet hook ........

My lovely blanket's are still on the go but I have picked up my crochet hook for a little break from knitting. I've just received the first issue of a new crochet magazine and it's delightful - full of ideas, patterns, features, inspiration and much much more.

I have got a short subscription where you can have three issues for almost the price of one, then I am going to have to make the hard decision of either keeping with my Mollie Makes subscription or changing it for the Simply Crochet magazine. I can't have both as they are quite expensive, but I have a few more issues before I need to decide.

such a fab magazine .....................
It is so full of temptation that I couldn't resist starting a mini project, I decided to crochet a heart motif for my yarn along project this week, which I think is adorable - you will be so tempted when I show you the pattern............
isn't it gorgeous...............

I love my little hearts .............so quick to make

I hope you are all feeling excited about your yarn along projects and enjoying your books as much as I am enjoying my Simply Crochet magazine, please pop over to see Ginny for even more inspiration.
