Well done Sue - it's beautiful - you could go shopping for some lovely new yarn now - well, you need to have an excuse for using this lovely new bag don't you?!!! Joy x
The yarn is cotton and is very strong also the handles are just a continuation of the round - I just followed my doubles with a long chain and then reattached on the other side of the bag and then crochet back and forward on the new chain. Not sure if this makes sense but I didn't need to sew the straps on they were just incorporated into the crochet - so didn't have any joins or stitches which is where the weakness can be. So hope it will be very strong Sue x
Love those colours, such a great combination. The bag looks great, I could see myself carrying that to the market. Thanks for your comment on my blog, that icing syringe is pretty cool, isn't it? Have a lovely evening xo

ReplyDeleteQuick ques! do u think those handles strong enough to hold heavy stuffs?
No offense meant :)
